His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah expresses appreciation for the long-standing cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany which spanned more than 40 years. On regional issues, His Majesty is looking forward to commemorating the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN-EU Relations in 2027. His Majesty made the titah during the Tête-à-Tête meeting with His Excellency Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany, in conjunction with His Majesty's Official Visit to the Federal Republic of Germany. The visit commenced with a meeting with the Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany, held at Villa Borsig in Berlin. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen.

Upon arrival was welcomed by His Excellency. Prior to the meeting, His Majesty was invited to sign the guest book, followed by a photo session with His Excellency.

During the Tête-à-Tête, His Majesty and His Excellency discussed reaffirming the long-standing friendship and cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the Federal Republic of Germany. Both leaders welcomed continued development in bilateral relations and noted growing cooperation across various fields. His Majesty was introduced to the delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany, and His Excellency was introduced to the delegation of Brunei Darussalam.
